ABSTRACT Objective: The study aims to analyse the fluoride concentration in water supply of capital each province Mozambique, 2019 and compare with previous data 1978 2008. Methods: cities Mozambique were analysed 1978, 2008 from Tete’s River 2019. samples was determined duplicate, using ion-sensitive electrode (Orion 9609), coupled a potentiometer (Procyon, model 720), adopting significance level 5%. Results: average found years 0.31, 0.33 0.14 mg F/L, respectively. concentrations collected household taps were: Cabo Delgado/Pemba (0.62, 0.28 0.07 F/L), Niassa/Lichinga (0.18, 0.98 Nampula/Nampula 0.01 0.06 Zambézia/Quelimane (0.81, 0.37 0.15 Tete/Tete (1.00, 0.97 0 .46 Sofala/Beira (0.00, 0.10mg Manica/Chimoio (0.04, Inhambane/Inhambane 0.05 0.19 Gaza/Xai-Xai (0.01, F/L) Maputo (0.23, 0.36 0.23 In waters Zambeze 5.5 F/L 0.12 There no significant change between during periods studied (p=0.83), however there difference river (p<0.05). Conclusion: Tete’ showed reduction concentration, piped all municipalities, content below optimum.
